Written to be read, not to hide things. If anything here is unclear, email us and a real person will explain it.
The most important thing on this page: RunYourCase is not a law firm, and we are not attorneys. We provide self-help document preparation and general legal education. Nothing we sell, write, publish, or say in a consultation is legal advice, and using our services does not create an attorney-client relationship.
RunYourCase provides document-preparation services, educational materials, and one-on-one informational sessions for people handling their own legal matters. We prepare documents based on information you provide, and we explain how processes, procedures, and paperwork generally work.
What we do not do: we do not represent you, we do not appear in court for you, we do not select legal strategies for your specific matter, and we do not advise you on what you should do in your case. Those activities require a licensed attorney. If you need legal advice or representation, consult a licensed attorney in your state.
Documents we prepare are built from the information you give us. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information, and for reviewing every document before you sign, send, or file it. You decide what to file and when. You sign your own documents.
Court rules, deadlines, and filing requirements differ by state, by court, and over time. You are responsible for confirming current requirements with your court before filing.
We cannot and do not guarantee any particular result. Legal outcomes depend on facts, jurisdiction, opposing parties, judges, and your own follow-through — none of which we control. Anyone who guarantees you a legal outcome is not being straight with you.
Kits and document packages are one-time purchases delivered electronically, usually within minutes of payment. If your delivery does not arrive within a reasonable time, email support@runyourcase.com and we will send it directly.
30-day money-back guarantee. If a kit isn't what you needed, email us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it. You don't have to justify the request.
Sessions are paid at the time of booking. Rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before your scheduled time using the link in your confirmation email. Cancellations made at least one full day before the session are refunded. No-shows and cancellations inside that window may be charged in full, because the time was held for you and not offered to anyone else.
If we have to reschedule for any reason on our end, you may take a new time or a full refund, your choice.
Services relating specifically to credit repair are regulated by federal law and are provided only under a separate written agreement that includes the disclosures and cancellation rights the law requires. That agreement is provided before any such work begins and before any payment for such work is made. General educational material about how credit reporting and disputes work is freely available on this site and is not a credit-repair engagement.
When you buy a kit or document package, you get a license to use it for your own personal or household legal matters. You may edit it, print it, file it, and keep it.
You may not resell, redistribute, republish, or share our materials, or use them to provide services to other people. Our guides, templates, and site content remain our property.
Guides and articles published on this site are general education. We verify the statutes and rules we cite against their official sources at the time of writing, but law changes and courts differ — content may become outdated, and it is never a substitute for checking your own court's current rules or getting advice about your specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or session at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed deadlines, adverse rulings, or lost opportunities.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case those limitations apply only to the extent permitted.
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose, to submit false information, or to use our materials to provide legal services to others. We may decline or discontinue service, with a refund of amounts paid for undelivered services, if we believe a matter is outside what we can properly assist with.
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will not be applied retroactively to purchases already completed.
Questions about these terms: support@runyourcase.com. Billing questions: billing@runyourcase.com. A real person answers both.
